kylie minogue and kelis rogers are two bitches bit-geek tomas nordström attempts to tame in his release, rwb002. if you haven't had the opportunity to listen to the orignal mixes there's no reason to start now; nordström aptly retains the elements that made these hits worthy of our airtime and grinds up the rest into delicious bits of synthesized happiness
slow's vocal make-over exudes the same catchy, spoken-flirt momentum as the original, but renders a smooth, toned-down texture that subdues its dominance over the rest of the song.
the transition from slow to milkshake is alarming; kylie sets a soothing groove-anywhere environment that kelis quickly abrupts with her granulized vocals. this aside, nordström reblends the milkshake well with an improved rhythm arrangement, sexy fuzz-bass melodies, and a few other secret ingredients.

Where are you right now?
i´m located in Malmö, Sweden... i´m originaly from Stockholm, but i moved here 4-5 months ago.
What’s currently on your computer’s desk?
black background, i´m a minimalist.
What the name of the current song you’re working on?
Tomas: "baboom", had a bunch of samples from the movie "Electric dragon 80000v" that i started to play with and there was lot´s of explosions. so just before i saved i came up with the genious name "BABOOM"
What inspired you to remix Slow?
i´m very much down with 8bit game music. i´ve done game tune´s for 12years. so it was pretty obvious that i made it very Gameish ^___^
Milkshake?
people at www.no-future.com talked about the track and i had downloaded the acapella from the internet. so i said i would do a remix for fun. so i did.
What software did you use to make remix these songs?
my laptop has Buzz, wavelab, cooledit, type it talks, renoise, cubasesx and other stuff. littlesounddj, pocketfader, micromodular, mixer, sl1200 and then i got my other p2 450 that has fasttracker2. and with ft2 i make chiptunes. if i had a amiga500 i would use protrack2, hihi.
Hardware?
well, hardware come and go. at the moment i collecting gear that is practical in live-sets.
